Seminar-workshop on Basic Research Methods
Having been officially appointed as the CVCHRD Regional Trainer for Basic Research Methods (BRM), Dr. Maria Fe Abejar and Dr. Maria Philina Villamor conducted a pilot testing of the BRM training at Cebu Doctors’ University (CDU) last December 18-19, 2018. Along with them, Mr. Richard Capuyan, the university statistician of CDU, served as the lecturer on the sampling designs, sample size determination, and data analysis.
The 2-day seminar-workshop were consists of mostly faculty of the different colleges in CDU and also member institutions of the consortium. Another BRM training is set to be conducted for the year 2019. Through these trainings, budding and seasoned researchers will constantly renew and update their knowledge on the basics of research methods.
